Position Overview:
As a Venture Builder, you’ll take the lead in developing company concepts, conducting user research, leading company-creation efforts, launching new products, driving our ventures’ early customer acquisition, shaping their go-to-market strategies, and iterating on product-market fit. You’ll work across multiple ventures in the studio, combining creativity with data-driven experimentation to pioneer growth strategies that deliver results. In this role, you’ll wear many hats and operate across research, product, marketing, and customer acquisition, helping the ventures get off the ground and scale. If you’re someone who’s excited about building from 0-1, and is comfortable operating without a predefined playbook and embracing the challenges of ambiguity, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Discovery and Outreach: Identify and connect with potential customers to deeply understand their pain points, test early assumptions, and utilize innovative strategies to drive initial adoption.
- Market Research: Conduct iterative market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends, ensuring our products are positioned effectively.
- Product Launch: Take ownership of bringing products to life by developing and executing go-to-market plans for product launches, including marketing campaigns, sales strategies, and distribution plans.
- Drive Product Iteration: Act as the bridge between customers and the product team by gathering feedback directly from users, analyzing market data, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You’ll work closely with engineering to iterate on product vision based on customer feedback, market data, and performance metrics.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze data and metrics to assess growth strategies and make informed decisions that drive user engagement and conversion.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with advisors and engineering teams to ensure alignment on product vision and execution.
- Build Community: Foster relationships with early adopters, industry influencers, and stakeholders to create brand advocates and drive word-of-mouth growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in growth hacking, digital marketing, or go-to-market strategy, preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition channels, including social media, SEO, email marketing, paid advertising, and content marketing.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience interpreting data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in launching and scaling tech products or startups.
- Passion in Future of Work or Education is preferred.
