We are looking for an enthusiastic personality to collaborate with our Technology Partners. This is a golden opportunity for professional advancement and fast-track learning, allowing you to contribute significantly to the growth of a VC firm that has financed tech pioneers such as Nexthink, Ledgy, Unique, Skribble and Sumup.

About the Role:

The Venture Capital Investment Associate will work within the Technology team, looking for the most exciting Swiss and European Enterprise SaaS and Deep-Tech startups to invest in.

You will:

– Source and evaluate remarkable tech startups, assess their potential, the founding team & product, and understand the market and their competition.

– Optimize our deal flow processes and our deal flow sharing to contribute to the ecosystem.

– Conduct in-depth due diligence of potential investments, by analysing data, performing market research, conducting diligence calls, and preparing investment memos.

– Once the investment is completed, support founders in their ambitions and challenges, including attending board meetings, and advising them on various growth and funding opportunities.

– Be involved in our fund-raising activities.

– Nurture and expand Vi Partners’ network and represent the firm in relevant ecosystem events.

You are/you have:

– An ecosystem catalyst: dynamic and enthusiastic, you thrive in social settings and have a natural ability to connect with others. You enjoy building sustainable relationships and have a proven track record of effective networking.

– A collaborative team member: you like to share knowledge, ensure effective communication, take ownership of your tasks and drive change.

– An entrepreneurial mindset: driven and resilient, you are curious and have creative approaches to problem-solving, walk the extra-mile, take different perspectives, quick-test hypotheses by trial and error and get-things-done.

– 3 to 7 years of work experience in Europe, ideally in DACH, as a co-founder or early employee of a tech startup or scale-up, in Venture Capital, or in strategy consulting. Diverse experiences are highly valued.

– A degree in Business, Finance or Engineering, with a preference for technology.

– Clear emotional intelligence and proficient written and verbal communication skills.

– At ease performing a variety of professional tasks.

– Fluent in English and German. Swiss German is a plus.
