You will work directly with Partners to source, evaluate, and support the next generation of category-defining startups. This is a front-line role for an operator-minded investor to shape the future of AI-native companies.

What you will do:

• Source new investments by building authentic relationships with founders and representing Uncork at demo days and technical gatherings.
• Lead investment diligence by evaluating founding teams, conducting customer calls, and performing deep-dive market and product research.
• Support portfolio companies on critical early-stage challenges including go-to-market strategy, technical hiring, and subsequent fundraising preparation.

The ideal candidate:

• Has 2-4 years of experience in a product-facing or business-building role at a fast-growing, AI-native startup.
• Demonstrates strong technical context and founder empathy, potentially as a former YC founder or early employee at a breakout company.
• Possesses a high degree of self-direction and existing connectivity within the San Francisco startup and venture ecosystem.
