The Investment Associate plays an important role in our family office’s investment team and supports the design of the portfolio and the support of individual companies.
Field of activity:
- Carrying out comprehensive research and analysis work in various asset classes, especially in the area of venture capital
- Creation and maintenance of financial models to evaluate investment opportunities
- Regular analysis and reporting on the performance of the existing investment portfolio
- Conducting detailed due diligence on potential investments, including evaluating management teams, financial data, industry environment and risks
- Cooperation and coordination of lawyers and other external consultants to examine specific issues and during negotiations
- Preparation of investment memos, presentations and reports for internal stakeholders summarizing analyses, due diligence results and recommendations
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in finance, economics, business administration or a related field
- Approximately 3 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, asset management or a comparable position
- Advanced knowledge of common IT systems; experience in financial modeling and quantitative analysis
- Fluent German and English skills
- Team-oriented; Strong analytical and communication skills
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
