This position can work from West Lafayette or Indianapolis, Indiana.
Essential Functions
- Partner with Principal to manage the deal flow pipeline including the triaging and exploration of inbound companies.
- Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities including performing market research and writing investment memos.
- Manage the Purdue Ventures deal database, providing transparency into the status of companies in the pipeline.
- Partner with Venture Community Manager to engage with companies at the “wait” stage.
- Provide fund management support including continuously working to improve investment criteria.
- Work with leadership to build and enhance relationships with key stakeholders including attending local and regional events.
- Participate actively in team meetings and discussions on topics such as market dynamics, sectors of interest, and pipeline opportunities.

Required Education/Experience and Benefits
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3-5 years’ experience preferred.
- Experience in VC or Finance desirable.
