Who is (and what is) Mudita?

We are looking for an incredible Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion and experience in early-stage companies, a strong analytical mindset, and an interest in venture capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, competitive landscape evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Conduct thesis-driven market research to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities.
- Assist in deal sourcing by identifying promising startups and joining calls to engage with early stage founders.
- Analyze data and financial models to assess company performance and investment potential.
- Prepare reports and presentations on portfolio performance and industry trends for Mudita Partners
- Support investment team members in managing the CRM (HubSpot) and other data systems to track deals and relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience with startups or the startup ecosystem (e.g., working at a startup, accelerator, or VC-backed company).
- Working knowledge of the venture capital industry, investment process, and key industry metrics.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with high proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a sharp attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, collaboratively and thrive in somewhat ambiguous scenarios.
- Experience working with and building AI-native processes.
Bonus Points For:
- Previous experience as a founder or early employee at a startup, or some other operational experience.
