About the Role
The Morningside Digital Health portfolio spans 35+ companies that are addressing the
biggest challenges in healthcare globally. As a Portfolio Operations Associate on the Digital
Health Team, you will be the team’s go-to for portfolio company reporting and performance
visualization, identifying growth opportunities and operational improvements for the
companies in our portfolio. You will also support the investment team and
partnerships team with critical analysis that informs our most important decisions.
You will interface frequently with top-level stakeholders, working with a highly collaborative
group of Digital Health Investment Professionals, portfolio company executives, and
company Board Members to manage our portfolio operations function and achieve the
highest possible impact on healthcare through our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a portfolio operations strategy that continuously tracks
portfolio company metrics and KPIs; you will own our portfolio reporting function
• Develop data analyses and visualizations that lead to actionable opportunities for
portfolio improvement and growth
• Collaborate directly with company Board Members, executives, and Morningside
Investment Professionals to understand portfolio company and Board-level
reporting needs
• Deeply understand healthcare business models and associated metrics that relay
individual portfolio company operating risks and growth opportunities
• Support portfolio companies with revenue operations and pipeline tracking
initiatives
• Support investment team with diligence / deal flow efforts and market analysis
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of full-time experience in strategy consulting, investment banking,
corporate development, or a corporate strategy role (REQUIRED)
• Fluency with Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau etc.)
• Familiarity with the venture capital ecosystem
• Strong background or interest in healthcare
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft a narrative based on data
