Role Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior Associate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in startup investment, strategic alliances, and corporate strategy.  You will work closely with experienced investors and operators and play a key role in driving the success of high-growth startups and the strategic initiatives of Metanet.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify emerging trends and investment and partnership opportunities
  • Perform due diligence on potential investments, including financial modeling, competitive analysis, and evaluating business models
  • Assist in sourcing new investment and alliance opportunities through networking, industry events, and direct outreach
  • Contribute to internal strategic planning by preparing industry landscapes, strategic briefings, and opportunity assessments for executive decision-making
  •  Support the development of strategic initiatives and go-to-market plans for portfolio companies in coordination with internal stakeholders

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in market research, consulting, strategic alliances, investment, or a technology-focused role
  • Deep understanding of technology trends and their impact on the enterprise software landscape
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Skilled in leveraging AI-powered deep research tools with hands-on experience in prompt engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proactive, self-starter with a passion for startups, technology, and strategy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and globally connected environment
