Become part of our team and support us at our Frankfurt am Main location as an Investment Associate (f/m/d) from the earliest possible starting date.

Your future tasks

• Identification of potential new, up-and-coming business partners and building and maintaining existing customer relationships
• Independent execution of the investment process, from due diligence and coordination with key internal teams in the process to representing the investment proposal before decision-making bodies of KfW Capital
• Contract structuring taking into account applicable internal framework conditions and successful negotiation of the contract conclusion
• Collaboration in product development
• Identifying opportunities and risks when structuring transactions
• Cross-product assumption of contract management and fund support after completion of the transaction
• Close cooperation with KfW Capital’s internal interfaces
• Participation in the development of further products and involvement in internal projects

Your skills

• Completed university degree or comparable qualification
• Experience in fund or direct investments in private equity / venture capital
• Knowledge of impact investing is an advantage
• Experience in the regulated investment sector (securities institutions or banks) is an advantage
• In-depth understanding of the German and European VC market and the relevant emerging players
• Proficient in German and English
• Strong communication skills, concise written presentation of complex issues and analytical skills
• Above-average decision-making ability and result orientation
• Ability to take responsibility and prioritize tasks
• Ability to work constructively as part of a transaction team when structuring, negotiating and concluding contracts
• Willingness to collaborate on projects
• Confident demeanor and the ability to convincingly represent the interests of KfW Capital towards funds, other investors and other stakeholders.
