Impact Investing Alliance
The U.S. Impact Investing Alliance (“the Alliance”) is seeking a talented individual with strong written communication and project management skills adept at working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. The Alliance is dedicated to building the impact investing ecosystem by bridging market gaps and addressing shared challenges. The Program Associate will work under the direction of the Manager of Programs and will support the project team by participating in various general and project-specific tasks. This person must exercise effective time management, be a great multitasker and be a strong team player
Responsibilities and Tasks
Programming and Events
- Develop and execute programming for key stakeholder groups, such as the Presidents’ Council on Impact Investing and other investor groups.
- Represent the Alliance at relevant virtual and in-person meetings and conferences to gather information and knowledge that will feed into Alliance programming, speaking and communications strategies.
- Participate in Alliance team meetings and staff retreats and contribute to overall team culture and performance. Set agendas and help facilitate discussion during relevant team meetings.
- As needed, assist with some administrative or logistics support for in-person or virtual meetings, events and other activities.
Research & Presentations
- Prepare research, presentations and briefings for internal and external stakeholders and governing bodies.
- Analyze internal and external data, secondary research and other information sources to inform the programming and communications of the Alliance.
- Monitor news and publications relevant to impact investing
Communications
- Lead the planning and execution of the organization’s external communications through regular newsletters and social media posts.
- Draft external communications materials, including talking points, blog posts, op-eds, etc. o
- Author grant reporting and proposal materials to communicate accomplishments and learnings with funders and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Ability
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years’ experience related to impact investing, finance and/or related topics
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and Zoom
