We are looking to strengthen our investment team with additional Associate hires. With our latest fund less than half deployed across three growth investments, we are planning to make five additional growth investments over the next 18 months. The new team members will play a key role in shaping new theses, assessing pipeline opportunities, and supporting portfolio companies with select value creation initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, who is now looking to transition into a high-impact, entrepreneurial investment environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the deal team in evaluating investment opportunities through commercial due diligence, company data analysis, operating and returns modelling, benchmarking, and valuation analysis
  • Shape investment theses by researching markets, trends, and companies; support sourcing by building market maps, ranking target companies, and reaching out to prospects
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and contribute to value creation initiatives, especially in growth strategy and organisational development
  • Advance Greyhound’s thinking around enduring growth through original research and insight development

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

  • 1–3 years of consulting experience, ideally from firms like McKinsey, BCG, Bain, LEK, or OC&C, where you developed strong exposure to commercial due diligence and a problem-solving approach aligned with investment decision-making
  • A demonstrated history of high performance, including promotion(s) and standout performance reviews
  • International exposure, gained through work, study, or personal experience across different countries and cultures
  • Strong academic achievements, having graduated in the top quartile of your class (or equivalent distinction)
  • Experience in finance, such as M&A, private equity, or equity research — preferred, not required
  • Exposure to entrepreneurial environments, whether through a start-up, side project, or venture building — preferred, not required
