Fulcrum Equity Partners is an Atlanta-based growth equity firm that manages over $900 million and provides expansion capital to rapidly growing companies led by strong entrepreneurs and management teams. We target companies within the healthcare, B2B SaaS and technology enabled services sectors. Our initial target investment size is $5 million – $35 million, and we provide financing to meet a wide range of needs, including internal growth initiatives, acquisitions and recapitalizations. Qualified candidate will support all aspects of the fund’s investment process and work with all members of the Fulcrum team. More specific responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
· Screening and evaluating investment opportunities
· Reviewing business plans and performing due diligence with respect to potential investments
· Financial analysis and modeling
· Research related to investments, including in-depth research of the prospect’s business, industry and competition
· Preparing investment memoranda and financial exhibits; preparing presentation materials and other supplemental information
· Monitoring the performance of portfolio companies; assisting portfolio companies in a variety of transactions, including follow-on equity and debt financings and acquisitions; and preparing and packaging materials for portfolio companies to potential acquirers
· Assist in sourcing potential new investment opportunities, including attending conferences, building a network of young professionals, etc.
Job Qualifications
· Two – six years’ experience in related field with preference for investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, business development, etc.
· Passionate about and have an interest in technology and healthcare
· Strong financial analysis and modeling skills are required
· Must be detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong research skills
· Results oriented individual who can work independently or as part of a team
· Comfortable meeting tight deadlines and juggling multiple responsibilities
· Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, including Excel, Power Point and Word
