Forge Ventures is an early stage technology venture capital fund, focused on finding the best seed and pre-seed founders and ideas in South East Asia.

We are headquartered in Singapore and look at companies across a wide range of themes. So far, we’ve invested in everything from healthcare to fintech, edtech to bean-free coffee! Some of our companies include Mito Health, Prefer, and Baskit.

Associate Responsibilities:

• Analyse investment opportunities and work with the investment team on investment due diligence and decision-making processes.
• Track and oversee investment pipeline and portfolio management tools.
• Research trends and synthesise macro issues relevant to investment decisions.
• Regularly join investment meetings to take notes and present any relevant research findings.
• Prepare and contribute to investment memos and quarterly reviews.
• Assist with portfolio management and attend board meetings with the principals.
• Assist with firm building work, including but not limited to fundraising, operations, marketing etc.

Qualifications:

• Degree from a top university and 2-3 years of experience in a quantitative field, investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or a data intensive role at a start-up.
• Demonstrates academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, sound judgement, attention to detail and analytical skills in areas of high complexity.
• An ability to work autonomously and run in the right direction given a lot of rope.
• An interest in startups, entrepreneurship, investments and financial analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivation, a proactive action-oriented approach and a strong work ethic.
