About the role

As an Investment Associate at Disruptive Ventures, you become a central part of our investment team and get the opportunity to identify and develop the next generation of tech companies. Your role involves a broad mix of analytical, business and operational duties. Among other things, you will:

• Actively participate in the entire investment process from identifying potential investments to conducting due diligence and company analysis.
• Work operationally in our portfolio companies to accelerate the companies’ growth, for example by supporting sales, commercialization, pricing/business models, developing partner and customer relationships and improving brand strategies.
• Work closely with entrepreneurs and founders, both through consulting and hands-on business development, where you help increase revenue and strengthen the company’s market position.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have both analytical sharpness and very strong business acumen. You thrive in a dynamic business environment where no two days are the same and where you are expected to roll up your sleeves and achieve results. We would like you to have:

• 1-5 years of experience in B2B sales, investment banking, venture capital, startup/tech/entrepreneurship or business development with documented good results. The important thing for us is that you are a star where you are today and not that you work in finance. If you are a doer, we will teach you all about investing.
• Strong analytical skills
• Natural flair for seeing business opportunities where others see problems. Proven ability to make money and do good business.
• Independence, initiative and a distinct ability to build relationships, both internally and externally.
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English and be comfortable presenting orally and in writing to internal and external parties.
