Requirements 

We encourage individuals who meet the following qualifications to apply: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Science, or Engineering. ● 3+ years of relevant work experience in the financial sector (VC/PE/Investment Banking), as an operator in a startup (Strategy, Finance, Data Science, etc.), or as a strategy consultant. ● Demonstrated interest in VC investments, with knowledge about technology, innovation, and the startup ecosystem in Latin America. 
• Strong analytical skills (including financial modeling), critical reasoning, and research capabilities. 
• Project management capabilities, with an ability to multitask. 
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in both English and Spanish, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus. 
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments, demonstrating proactivity, self-motivation, and the initiative to work independently within a geographically distributed team. 
• Advanced use of productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience using AI-based tools like ChatGPT.

Responsibilities 

Your contributions will play a vital role in driving our mission forward. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Deal sourcing and proactive participation in the startup ecosystem. Build relationships with founders, investors, and other participants in the industry. 
• Actively being a “champion” for deals, participating in the investment process from start to finish. Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities. 
• Portfolio companies’ monitoring and value-added activities. 
• Internal and investor-related reporting. 

Location: This position is hybrid for Mexico City applicants and remote for other cities in Latam. Applicants based in Mexico City, Bogota, and Sao Paulo will be prioritized.
