What You’ll Do
1. Assistant to the COO
- Serve as a strategic and execution-focused partner to the COO
- Coordinate priorities, track follow-ups, and support high-leverage initiatives
- Initiate and lead special projects across branding, communications, ecosystem engagement, and internal growth
- Help maintain momentum across cross-functional activities and external relationships
2. Community & Ecosystem Engagement
- Help build and maintain a high-quality network of founders, investors, and ecosystem partners
- Coordinate events, roundtables, and relationship-building initiatives
- Track engagement metrics and surface insights to improve outreach and impact
3. Content, Storytelling & Analytics
- Produce thoughtful content for our website, newsletters, and founder/investor updates
- Distribute firm insights and thought leadership via social channels and campaigns
- Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives
- Use data and engagement metrics to refine content strategy and ecosystem outreach
Who You Are
- A natural connector and storyteller with strong people instincts and communication skills
- Data-driven thinker – comfortable using analytics to guide decisions and improve results
- Curious, structured, and always looking to learn and improve systems
- Able to operate with clarity and ownership in unstructured environments
- Excellent at prioritizing, following through, and getting things done
- Energized by startups, tech, and the broader innovation ecosystem
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in VC, startups, ecosystem/community roles, strategy, or communications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field
- Strong writing, research, and presentation skills
- Comfort with data tracking and performance reporting (e.g., Airtable, Notion, Google Sheets)
- Bonus: experience with content tools (Canva, Webflow, Figma) or automation/CRM platforms
Compensation & Next Steps
- Compensation range: $70,000 – $100,000 base + Bonus potential, depending on experience
- This is a full-time role with meaningful room to grow
