Role Overview:

We are looking for an Analyst to join our team in Berlin. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about venture capital, eager to make a significant impact and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As an Analyst at Vireo Ventures, you will be an integral part of the investment team and have a voice in our investment discussions. You will actively work on investment opportunities, generate deal flow, attend industry events and support our portfolio companies and internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities
• Evaluate startup pitches and business plans
• Assist in the due diligence process for prospective investments
• Prepare investment memos and presentations
• Actively contribute to investment decisions
• Attend industry events to network and identify promising startups
• Generate and manage deal flow
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Back-Office support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or field relevant to the energy-transition

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English (fluency in both languages a must)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Previous experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting is a plus
