Not your typical VC role.
As an analyst at TitletownTech you’ll play a critical role in unearthing new markets while discovering the strengths and weaknesses of our prospective investments. You will conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling, informing the investment team and our limited partners. You will participate in due diligence, present findings, and help identify companies with the potential for venture-scale returns. Additionally, you will network with startup founders, stay abreast of startup ecosystem trends, and attend industry events. This role also involves actively building our network and brand within the market and community.
What you’ll do to be successful:
- Our investment team seeks knowledge of behaviors and trends to inform decision making. Our investors do as well. Your work will entail industry analysis, market sizing, opportunity valuation, and technology deep dives. This is an opportunity to put your findings in the hands of well-connected people and brands.
- Your research will not live in a vacuum; it will have a discerning audience. Synthesizing data and disparate information into summarized analyses creates great value, including the ability to communicate findings simply but with detail in a short time frame.
- We love learning new information – push us on our thinking. Fill us in on your latest discovery or shine a light on our blind spots.
Experience & skills you’ll need
• 1-2 years of experience with demonstrated ability to learn quickly and produce top quality work.
• Strong analytical abilities to derive well-founded insights quickly from limited data.
• Action-oriented with solid project management to organize and document the work, meet deadlines, and produce quality results.
• A gracious presence to demonstrate professionalism working side-by-side with world-class experts and brands.
• Entrepreneurial attitude and persistence to figure out how to get things done, no matter the obstacles.
