VC Analyst @ Stake Capital in Lisbon, Portugal

Stake Capital is a leading blockchain venture capital firm that supports innovative projects across infrastructure, DeFi, payments, stablecoins, and more. We invest in early-stage companies and provide strategic guidance to help them grow. We seek a highly motivated VC & DeFi Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of blockchain infra and DeFi projects.
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities and perform due diligence.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment team.
• Monitor industry trends and market developments.
• Assist the other Stake Capital verticals.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and DeFi.
• Proficiency in (English) written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Autonomy and proactivity in developing a professional network.
• Capability to conduct rigorous research and due diligence on market segments.
• Passion for the blockchain and DeFi space.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in venture capital or blockchain startups
• Strong technological knowledge of blockchain related technologies, and their latest developments.
• Existing network in the blockchain industry.
• Basic AI knowledges
