SevenSevenSix Ventures
As part of the 776 investment team, the Analyst plays a critical role in all aspects of our firm. This role supports the broader Partnership with a front-row seat to the venture world—across diligence, operations, portfolio support, and firm strategy. You’ll learn the VC ropes from a seasoned team of builders and operators, while making immediate contributions across our internal tools, portfolio companies, and investor relationships.
We’re looking for an Analyst who thrives on curiosity and learning, finds joy in creating order from chaos, has strong analytical chops, and is excited to build with a startup-minded VC firm. This iteration of the role also includes meaningful responsibilities in fundraising and investor relations, offering visibility into capital formation and long-term firm-building.
Job Expectations:
Your job every morning: help our team focus on best supporting our founders. Second, support those founders directly. Start and stop with our founders.
This job IS:
- ✅ A chance to be genuinely helpful and learn along the way
- ✅ Supporting the deal team across diligence, decision-making, and firm-level initiatives
- ✅ Collaborating across functions and keeping everyone aligned and resourced
- ✅ Getting in the weeds when needed—and building systems so we don’t stay there
This job is NOT:
- ❌ An investment track role. While things may change as we grow, the firm’s current need is for someone looking to support and learn from all parts of the business, not write checks.
- ❌ Deal sourcing. (We’ve got the pipeline—we need your help working through it)
- ❌ About politics or optics. Results > posturing.
- ❌ Siloed. You’ll touch everything—our firm, portfolio, LPs, and internal tools.
Core Responsibilities:
Investment & Portfolio Support
- Conduct deep-dive research into new markets, technologies, and industry trends
- Analyze financials, build basic models, and synthesize valuation comps
- Support due diligence processes and draft investment memos
- Collaborate with portfolio leadership teams on operational support and benchmarking
- Track and analyze portfolio performance via KPIs and Cerebro system data
- Keep internal records and portfolio documentation current and high-quality
Investor Relations & Fundraising Support
- Work closely with the Founding Partner and Outcomes team on the full spectrum of investor relations activities
- Prepare and maintain the full suite of marketing materials for current and prospective LPs (including decks, fund models, PPMs, standard DDQs, and data rooms)
- Maintain Cerebro CRM for LP tracking and ensure internal updates are timely and accurate
- Coordinate and help fulfill due diligence requests in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Collect, maintain, and organize investor data and outreach records
- Conduct research on prospective LPs and support targeted outreach strategies
- Provide weekly fundraising progress updates to internal stakeholders
- Execute ad hoc investor-related projects as needed
Internal Project Management & Systems Coordination
- Drive agenda preparation for weekly team meetings
- Upload relevant materials and research for partner meetings and pitches via Cerebro
- Partner across the team to improve workflows and data integrity in all internal tools
What You Bring:
- Familiarity with financial modeling, startup metrics, and investor materials
- Strong research and analytical skills—you love investigating markets and synthesizing insights
- Excellent written communication—you can turn complex info into clear, compelling narratives
- Detail orientation and organizational skills that make collaboration feel seamless
- Ability to work independently with accountability in a remote-first environment
- Curiosity about venture capital, technology, and how great businesses are built
- A collaborative spirit and service-oriented mindset—you love being useful
Compensation & Benefits
- 💸 $135,000 and annual bonus
- ⚕ 100% paid employee and dependent health care premiums
- 🏠 Work from anywhere in the United States
- 💕 Generous & inclusive policies, including paid family leave
- 🕓 Flexible work hours and PTO
- 💪 Quarterly Wellness, Caregiving, and Workspace stipend
- 📚 Supportive culture designed to help you develop and grow
- 🎁 A host of unique perks and fringe benefits
We’d Love to Hear from You If…
- You want to help shape the future of VC with a team that moves fast and thinks long
- You see venture capital as a tool for empowerment, not gatekeeping
- You value rigor, transparency, empathy, and a little weirdness
- You don’t meet 100% of the qualifications above—but you’re excited to learn
- You care more about what you can do than where you went to school
- You’re not an asshole
Other Things of Note:
This role is remote and US based. Compensation at this stage in our firm’s life cycle is not based on geographic location. This may change in the future.
We encourage anyone to apply that may be interested, even if you feel you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications above. We’d like to account for the fact that we may have overlooked, under-counted, or over-indexed on some of these requirements.
That’s it. We don’t care where you went to college—or even if you did. It doesn’t matter who you know. We care about what you can do to help us achieve outsized returns and maintain our values along the way.
