Route 66 Ventures
Route 66 is looking for an Analyst to work across our Venture Capital and Foundry teams. Route 66’s two-year Analyst program provides individuals early in their career with a great opportunity to learn and take on significant responsibility while enjoying a casual (but high-performing) small-team atmosphere. Over the two-year program, you will work closely with senior members of the team and focus your time on fund operations, company building program and project management, market research, deal execution and portfolio management.
We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and jump in wherever needed, has a passion for the digital health startup ecosystem, and wants to have an outsized positive impact on the future of Route 66 Ventures.
If you are interested in cracking into the Venture Capital and/or HealthTech industry, this is a great opportunity for you. Our previous analysts have all gone on to be Associates at VC funds or work at high-growth start-ups.

About you …
Are you a self-starter who has a track record demonstrating:
- grit and strong work ethic,

- an innate curiosity and a desire to learn,
- exceptional organizational skills,
- an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and
- a real passion for venture capital, startups and technology?

What you’ll do …
- Lead portfolio management by overseeing financial and operational KPI reporting from our portfolio companies
- Manage fund and incubation operations
- Perform high-quality research and analysis on key market and sector trends
- Work alongside executives as we build new startups
What you’ll need …
- Less than three years of professional experience preferably in finance, consulting, entrepreneurship or an early-stage company
- Bachelor’s degree with excellent performance
- Live in or be willing to relocate to the DMV area
- Hunger to dive into new areas and learn as much as possible
- Positive and proactive attitude toward all assignments
- Strong analytical skills with a working knowledge of corporate finance
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
- Comfort working independently and in a virtual-first fast-paced environment
- Bonus points if you have a background in healthcare
