VC Analyst @ Node.VC in Stockholm, Sweden

As an analyst on our team, you’ll play a crucial role in identifying the next wave of great companies, analyzing investment opportunities, and supporting our portfolio on their growth path.

Role & Responsibilities

Scouting & Deal Sourcing

• Actively search for promising startups through sourcing tools, founder networks, events, and inbound deal flow.
• Build relationships with early-stage founders, operators, and other investors to scout emerging opportunities.
• Track trends in key sectors like AI, fintech, digital entertainment and work tools to identify disruptive startups.

Investment Analysis & Market Research

• Evaluate potential investments through financial modeling, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
• Conduct deep dives into specific industries, mapping key players, trends, and opportunities.
• Assess founder quality, team dynamics, and product-market fit through data and qualitative insights.
• Prepare investment memos and materials for internal discussions and Investment Committee meetings.

Supporting the Investment Process

• Assist in due diligence, including customer interview and financial and commercial analysis.
• Work closely with the partners to refine investment theses and strategic priorities.

Portfolio Support

• Help portfolio companies with fundraising preparation, financial modeling, and strategic research.
• Track and analyze portfolio performance, identifying key risks and opportunities.

Who You Are

Must-Haves:

• Finance and/or business education and/or experience.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, e.g. from investment banking, strategy consulting, PE/VC, or high-growth startups.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills – comfortable working with numbers, extracting insights and high proficiency in the relevant software tools.
• Deep curiosity for startups and new technology – constantly exploring emerging sectors and founders.
• A proactive mindset that can thrive in independent work in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

• Experience working at a startup or VC firm.
