VC Analyst @ Lead Ventures in Budapest, Hungary

LEAD Ventures is seeking a dynamic and ambitious VC Analyst to join our investment team. Lead Ventures is a Budapest-based venture capital and private equity firm, specialist of financing tech companies in Central Europe and the Baltics. Our mission is to support the region’s most promising ventures with capital, experience, and a wide-ranging professional network, enabling them to transform their industry and scale globally.

You will be involved in the following tasks:

• Reviewing startup business plans, pitch decks, and investment materials
• Scouting the most promising founders a projects
• Conducting market, sector, and competitive landscape research across emerging technologyverticals
• Supporting financial analysis, valuation, and modeling processes, including the preparation ofinvestment decision materials
• Participating in due diligence processes and investment execution across new transactions
• Monitoring portfolio company performance and supporting ongoing reporting and strategicfollow-up
• Working closely with the investment team on sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investmentopportunities

We are looking for you if you have:

• Completed MSc degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in venture capital, private equity, investmentbanking, consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate finance
• You’re commercially curious — you think about markets, competition, and business models, notjust technology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven, proactive, and tech-oriented mindset
• Interest in technology, startups, and innovation ecosystems
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable using modern analytical and research tools
• Fluent English and Hungarian language skills
