• Our portfolio is focused on decarbonisation, particularly hydrogen and its role in decarbonising energy and industry. Since 2013, the team has been investing in technologies to unlock the hydrogen value chain, enabling the global transition to sustainable energy
• We invest in hydrogen production, storage, and transportation as well as hydrogen applications that address the structural constraints which affect many sectors including mining, transportation and heavy industry. We also invest in carbon capture and extraction to support decarbonisation and the energy transition

Location and travel

• The Fund is recruiting for Analysts in London and San Francisco
• Domestic and international travel may be required as part of the role. <25 days annually

What we are looking for:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or physical sciences
• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience (e.g. engineering consulting, strategy/management consulting, investment banking etc.). VC/PE experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong MS Office skills
• Excellent technical, presentation, and communication skills
• Candidates are expected to take initiative and execute good judgement in a role that will become increasingly autonomous over time
• A successful Analyst will demonstrate a self-starting temperament and investor mindset
• Demonstrable passion and track record in climate and decarbonisation technology sectors is core to the role
