VC Analyst @ 3TS Capital Partners in Vienna, Austria

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Analyst (m/f/d) to join our investment team. You will play a key role in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in the DACH region and work closely with experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment.

We provide expansion capital for small and medium-sized businesses in high-growth sectors, including B2B SaaS, Marketplaces and Technology-Enabled Services. The team typically leads or co-leads Series A+/B investment rounds of €10-20m.

Your Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and evaluating potential investment opportunities in Germany, Austria and neighboring countries
• Representing the firm, meeting founders and investors of potential targets as well as engaging with service providers (e.g. M&A advisors)
• Analyzing technology driven business models, financial KPIs as well as value creation potential of target companies
• Preparing investment documents and presenting those to investment committee members
• Supporting due diligence workstreams (HR, commercial, financial, legal and tax due diligence) and steering of external service providers
• Working with senior investment professionals and management members of portfolio companies to drive value creation initiatives

Your profile:

• Exceptional academic track record from a top tier university
• At least 2-3 years of investment experience in venture capital, private equity and/or strategy consulting with digital/technology focus
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong network in the German start-up / scale-up world
• Experience in preparing and presenting investment opportunities to senior executives and independently leading due diligence workstreams
• Strong problem-solving, business analysis, financial modelling, communication and presentation skills
• International experience and fluency in German and English; additional fluency in an Eastern European language is a plus

We offer competitive compensation starting at EUR 41.000 annual gross salary with additional performance related incentives.
