Impact investing is a rapidly growing sector. INCO is expanding and is seeking a Senior Investment Officer to carry out the following tasks:
Ø Sourcing, execution and monitoring of investments and portfolio
The Investment Officer is responsible for prospecting target companies (social enterprises and those with a strong social or environmental impact), mainly in France, for the strategic, financial and extra-financial analysis of investment files, for presenting these to investment committees, for the actual execution of investments, and for monitoring a portfolio of impact companies, with the support and under the responsibility of an Investment Director.
Ø Promoting the impact investing sector
He or she participates in actions aimed at uniting actors in traditional finance, impact finance and impact entrepreneurs: organization of events, publication of studies, participation in working groups with actors in the sector, etc.
These responsibilities may evolve as the employee develops their skills and interests. In addition to their primary role, they may also be assigned cross-functional tasks for the entire investment team.
Job requirements
- With a Bac + 5 degree (business or engineering school, political science, or university), you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Private Equity and/or in the field of impact investing.
- Passionate about entrepreneurship and the inclusive and sustainable economy of tomorrow, you have technical skills in finance, strong writing skills, the ability to take initiative and lead a team.
- You are fluent in English.
- Based in Réunion, the French West Indies, or New Caledonia, this position requires a strong interest in the French Overseas Territories, blue tech, green tech, and social impact businesses.
