Global Frontier Technology Ventures (GFT Ventures) is an early-stage deep tech VC firm based in Palo Alto, CA with a focus on AI, Data Science, and other frontier technologies. It is co-founded and led by Jeff Herbst, formerly part of the executive leadership team at NVIDIA, and Jay Eum, previously the founding Managing Director of Samsung Ventures and co-founder of TransLink Capital. GFT Ventures backs category-leading Seed and Series A startups in the U.S. and Israel that are developing disruptive technologies to tackle the world’s most complex problems across the largest markets. About the Role

We’re hiring a full-time Investment Senior Associate / Principal to join our core investing team. This is a high-impact role offering deep exposure to both the frontlines of venture investing and the technologies shaping tomorrow. You’ll work directly with the partners across all stages of the investment lifecycle:

• Source high-potential startups through founder meetings, conferences, ecosystem networking, and thematic research
• Lead diligence efforts including market mapping, technical and competitive analysis, financial review, and reference checks
• Support portfolio companies through strategy discussions, customer and partner introductions, and other guidance as needed
• Contribute to internal initiatives including fund operations, LP communications, and firm-building projects

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role (e.g. venture capital, private equity, consulting, investment banking, or strategic roles within technology companies)
• Technical depth in AI, Data Science and/or related fields
• Proven track record of excellence, with credentials from top-tier academic institutions and professional firms
• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter attitude, and team-first orientation
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Location

This role will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
