Position Overview:

Arcventis Health Partners is hiring a Senior Associate, Investments. This is a key role as a member of the investment team in a highly entrepreneurial organization. This position is responsible for assisting in identifying, evaluating, executing, and managing private equity investments alongside the Firm’s Partners. The candidate will also support value creation activities across portfolio companies and contribute to strategic initiatives to support the firm’s growth.

 

This role will allow a successful candidate to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of sourcing, executing and supporting an investment. The candidate will also have broad exposure to all elements of firm building. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in an entrepreneurial environment while benefiting from a close working relationship with the Firm’s co-founders who have deep experience in investing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Investment Analysis, Execution and Support:

·      Identify and evaluate investment opportunities that align with the firm’s strategy

·      Conduct initial screening and due diligence on prospective investments

·      Support all aspects of deal execution including conducting financial modeling, valuation, due diligence coordination

·      Develop investment memoranda and relevant presentation for internal and external stakeholders

·      Support portfolio company monitoring and value creation efforts

Market Research:

·      Conduct relevant research to support investment thesis development including industry trends, economic and policy developments, and competitive landscapes within certain healthcare verticals

Other Strategic Support:

·      Support fundraising efforts with research, development of marketing material and other relevant documents

·      Support on special projects such as broader-based marketing materials, and internal process improvements for reporting and tracking

Key Qualifications and Attributes:

·      At least 4 years of collective working experience in investment banking and private equity with underwriting healthcare investments and an understanding of healthcare sectors and regulatory environment

·      Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills

·      Familiarity with tools like PitchBook, Capital IQ, AlphaSense and similar platforms

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create compelling presentations

·      Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

·      Entrepreneurial mindset – a self-starter and takes initiative

·      Collaborative personality with strong work ethic and demonstrated maturity

·      Solution-oriented and thinks creatively when issues arise

 

Compensation:

·      Annual Base Salary Range of $125-$175K

·      Competitive compensation package that will include performance-based bonus and carried interest/equity participation

·      Benefits package will include health insurance, retirement plans and other perks

 

Actual compensation package will be based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and alignment with the Firm’s needs.
