Senior VC Associate @ ABS Capital in Washington DC

ABS Capital is looking to add a Senior Associate to our growth equity investment team.

We invest $10–20 million in founder-led companies operating in critical areas of the economy, with a long history in B2B software, tech-enabled, and data-driven business models. We typically partner as a significant minority investor and work closely with management teams to help scale durable, market-leading companies.

We are a lean team. This role offers meaningful responsibility across the full investment lifecycle — sourcing, market research, financial modeling, diligence, execution, and active portfolio engagement — with direct exposure to founders and boards. This is a hands-on investing seat where clear thinking, strong communication and writing skills, and analytical horsepower are table stakes.

·      2–3 years of investment banking experience
·      Strong financial modeling and transaction execution skills
·      Excellent written and verbal communication
·      The ability to assess business models and articulate a clear investment thesis
·      High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and sound investment judgment
·      Willingness to work in person in Washington, DC or Hunt Valley, MD office

Buy-side experience is welcomed but not required.
