Now we’re looking for Senior Associates to help build our next chapter.

THE ROLE

We have a unique vantage point at Human Capital – working with founders, investors, and engineers alike. You’ll work with our portfolio companies to assist in executing against their talent roadmaps and managing candidate pipelines, to acting as a talent therapist–diagnosing why candidates drop off at a certain stages in the process.

This role is for those who rebuke monotony and crave the unknown, in order to build relationships and companies from the ground up.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Embed yourself with each engagement, becoming an expert in the company.
  • Design and implement strategy to identify and hire each companies’ unique talent needs.
  • Partner with our Operating Partners, who coach founders on their talent philosophy and systems.

YOUR PAST

We expect you to have done *some* of these things, but it’s not required that you’ve done all of them.

  • 2-3 years of experience working on talent teams in a Sourcer or Junior Full Cycle Recruiter role.
  • Have expertise in hiring technical talent for startup environments or pre-IPO venture backed tech companies.
  • Experience partnering closely with hiring partners to build top of funnel and identify market trends and research.
  • You’ve worked in a scrappy environment, and were part of teams that experienced rapid growth.

  • You’re a mentor at heart: You enjoy coaching and guiding candidates through tough decisions, and are excited to not only advise but truly coach those who interact with our portfolio companies.
  • You love tech: You’re genuinely passionate and interested in what our portfolio companies are building, and have the technical exposure to really understand what makes a tech startup unique and impressive.

WHAT WE’LL OFFER

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $111,000 – $130,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
