Job Title: Investor Relations Associate

Location: Naples, FL (On-site, with potential for hybrid flexibility)

About Us: ROC Venture Group is a dynamic and fast-growing venture capital firm based in Naples, FL. Since our inception in 2021, we have conducted >$60mn in transactions, which include both seeding and incubating several early-stage companies, and later stage pre-IPO businesses.

Job Summary: Investor Relations Associate will be responsible for driving the firm’s investor engagement efforts and cultivating new relationships to support capital-raising initiatives. This individual will work closely with the partners, leveraging their expertise to identify, attract, and maintain high-value investors while contributing to the firm’s strategic growth. This individual must be comfortable raising >$10mn per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investor Outreach: Develop and execute strategies to identify and engage potential investors, including high-net-worth individuals and family offices.
• Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with current and prospective investors, ensuring consistent communication and providing updates on portfolio performance.
• Fundraising Support: Assist partners in capital-raising efforts, including preparing investor presentations, pitch decks, and marketing materials.
• Event Coordination: Plan and manage investor-focused events, such as networking sessions, presentations, and dinners.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, investor preferences, and competitor activities to tailor outreach strategies effectively.
• Reporting: Track and report on investor engagement metrics, pipeline activities, and relationship-building progress.
• Strategic Input: Work closely with partners to refine business development strategies and identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in investor relations, business development, fundraising, or a similar role, preferably in a financial services or venture capital environment.
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining high-value relationships.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present confidently to sophisticated investors.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with a strong team orientation.
• Local to Naples, FL, or willing to relocate.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 annually, based on experience.
