The Role

At Isomer Capital, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Investor  Relations team in Mayfair, London. You’ll be a strong communicator, both in writing and visually, with an understanding  of the venture capital and institutional investment landscape.

Your work will broadly fall under three strands: Marketing and Communications, Investor Relations, and  Fundraising Support. We’re looking for someone who will take ownership in this space, upholding high  standards and taking initiative to drive better outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications

  • Take ownership of our monthly newsletter, LinkedIn channel and other external communication tasks.  Help the firm develop its voice in the market.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining all internal and external presentation materials. These are done  mainly in PowerPoint and PDF, with Excel, Word and other software as needed.
  • Act as a standard bearer, alongside other team members, for the consistent and accurate use of firm  data, formats and messaging.

  • When ready, handling investor enquiries, organising meetings, and providing informational updates to current investors. Participate in quarterly update calls and other interactions, and the ‘customer care’  of Isomer LPs.
  • Be knowledgeable of market dynamics and trends.

Fundraising Research and Support

  • Managing our fundraising software and data infrastructure end-to-end, for example ensuring our CRM,  LP database and other tracking tools are consistently up to date.
  • Investor identification and outreach, for example using databases to find LPs of interest on an upcoming  city trip, and contacting them when appropriate.
  • Help partners prepare for meetings through database research and briefing materials. Support and complete RFPs, respond to due diligence requests.
  • Maintain and continuously improve our investor materials and data rooms.

Isomer is a small firm where we all work together to get things done. As such, from time to time, it is expected  that other tasks may fall to you outside of your job description. It is not expected, however, that this position  would evolve into an investment role.

  • We envisage this hire coming in at either the Analyst or Associate level dependant on experience.  Our Values
  • Independent: Isomer is built and run by technology investors, operators and entrepreneurs. We are not  the venture division of an asset manager, bank, or another institution. Isomer’s independence allows it  to quickly evolve alongside the market and the needs of European entrepreneurs.
