For a portfolio company in our group, we are seeking a seasoned Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Finance. The company, a fast-growing German fintech, specializes in innovative real estate financial solutions that help homeowners unlock their property value. With a public listing planned for H1 2025, this role will be instrumental in leading fundraising efforts and investor relationships.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure capital for company growth and expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders
  • Craft and communicate a compelling investment thesis that highlights our company’s value proposition and growth potential
  • Develop and implement a robust investor relations strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives
  • Proactively manage investor communications, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information
  • Provide strategic insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and investor sentiment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective messaging and coordination
  • Oversee the public listing process and manage investor relationships post listing
  • Contribute to the development and execution of a public relations strategy
  • Develop innovative financial structures within the real estate and equity release space

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or investor relations
  • Proven track record in fundraising and capital markets transactions
  • Extensive financial structuring experience, both on equity and debt side, ideally with experience in asset-based lending
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, valuation methodologies, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in German and English is essential

Compensation 

Competitive compensation, including a base salary, plus a substantial equity stake based on company stock performance, and bonus based on fundraising success.
