Vorwerk Ventures is looking for a Chief of Staff to support the partnership in implementing the strategic and operational agenda. You will drive various operational excellence and business development initiatives and play a pivotal role in investor relations.
Tasks
Operational excellence:
- Refine internal processes to enhance operations and information sharing.
- Proactively drive preparation of meetings and ensure follow-through.
- Evaluate and periodically assess our operational and analytics tools used for sourcing, pipeline management, market insights, and internal operations.
- Support reporting and performance management across core investment process.
Business development:
- Lead and oversee projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and within established timelines.
- Bring data-driven insights to support strategy formulation, market analyses and decision making.
- Coordinate and prepare internal and external events such as strategy offsites, portfolio days, and conferences.
- Support in building and maintaining strong relations with stakeholders such as experts, venture partners, investor community.
Investor Relations:
- Together with the Finance and Investment team, produce and distribute compelling investor reportings.
- Schedule, prepare and support running the various board and annual meetings for investors.
- Maintain the investor CRM, track all contacts and coordinate preparation of materials and follow-ups.
- Support in all aspects of running the fundraising process for new funds, incl. preparation of presentations, roadshow orchestration, building and maintaining strong relations with current and prospective investors.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in business strategy and operations, preferably within top tier management consulting, investment banking, venture capital or the startup ecosystem.
- Strategically thinking generalist who can get things done.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and independently driving results across multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Native German speaker with fluency in English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, high initiative balanced with strong attention to detail.
- Passion for innovation, technology, and early-stage investing.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and challenges.
