We’re now adding a chief of staff to our team, in our newly setup CVC – TGW Logistics Ventures.

Who are we

We are the corporate venture arm of TGW Logistics, located in Vienna and investing in startups throughout Europe. We are looking for founders with the right mindset, who are ready to disrupt the intralogistics industry and to scale their startup to industry leadership.

TGW Logistics Ventures focuses on venture capital investments in Seed to Series A rounds in European startups and is committed to follow on in later investment rounds.

We invest in startups with a strong technological USP and a scalable business model. We focus on technologies that enable the optimization and disruption of the intralogistics industry, ranging from SaaS solutions to robotics.

TGW Logistics Ventures combines the best of both worlds: We invest at the pace of an independent financial investor, while providing the value add of a strategic investor.

Through TGW Logistics we are backed by one of the global intralogistics leaders and are able to provide access to markets and customers, collaboration opportunities and expert advice. Our main goal is to provide resources to our portfolio companies enabling growth and business development beyond a classical venture capital investment.

What the job involves

• Working closely with the managing director on strategic initiatives, operations and communication
• Providing decision support through data gathering and analysis
• Spearheading highly relevant projects supporting the firm’s market entry and structural setup
• Expanding the firm’s international investor and startup network
• Involvement in due diligence on new venture capital investments, business analysis and market research
• Transition into the investment team in about two years

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, strategic environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

• 3 – 4 years of experience in a top-tier consultancy, venture capital fund or a tech-startup
• Academic background in management, finance, or engineering
• Exceptional analytical capabilities with a results-driven mindset
• Strong project and priority management skills with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset that fits the firm’s culture
• Fluent English and German skills are essential
• Nice to have: Experience working directly with C-level executives
