Role: Chief of Staff

Reports to: General Partner

Location: HQ in Seattle, WA. Open to remote for the right candidate (must be in the continental US). Occasional out-of-state travel required.

Employment: Full time

Compensation: $75k to $90k, DOE. Potential to earn profit (carry) from the fund.

Role Description:

We’re looking for an early career professional to report directly to our General Partner. You will be supporting the GP across the board, and be primarily responsible for building our brand and platform by leading our founder community, managing our marketing channels, supporting all founders with perks, intros and benefits, and organizing killer events. While this is not an investing role, you will have exposure to our investment process, a valuable apprenticeship opportunity for a potential future role in investing. This is a high visibility role both internally and externally, with the opportunity to learn about every part of running a VC fund.

Expect a varied role with broad and changing responsibilities, including:

• Grow and manage our founder community, ensuring it is a welcoming virtual home and valuable resource for all founders
• Manage a content calendar including newsletters, recurring blog posts, pre- and post- event marketing, and social media posts
• Execute our events programming, including event logistics & coordination, content development, speaker outreach and prep, etc. This includes virtual events about once per month, and in person about once per quarter
• Onboard and support our portfolio companies, identify perks, people and resources that can help them
• Help us engage with founders, investors, thought leaders, innovators and practitioners in our industry
• Measure and report progress across all of the above
• Leverage AI tools to make us a more efficient and productive operation
• Represent our fund with energy, kindness and excellence in our own and external events
• Extra credit if you want to grow in the investing direction: source amazing new opportunities, highlight interesting trends and sectors, support the diligence process and investment decisions
