About the Role

The Chief of Staff plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of Elevation Capital by supporting the leadership team in strategic planning, operational execution, and administrative management. Acting as a trusted advisor and operational leader, the Chief of Staff is responsible for driving organizational efficiency, enabling the leadership team to focus on investment strategies, portfolio management, and market growth. This role bridges the gap between strategic priorities and day-to-day operations, ensuring all initiatives align with the firm’s objectives. By providing operational excellence and critical administrative support, the Chief of Staff contributes to creating a scalable and high-performing environment within the dynamic and fast-paced world of venture capital. Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for both personal and professional requirements
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for the CEO and leadership team
  • Organize and attend executive team meetings, ensuring agendas are prepared, minutes are documented, and follow-ups are tracked
  • Manage correspondence on behalf of the CEO, including drafting emails and communications
  • Supervise and coordinate the administrative team, ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, assisting in decision-making, planning, and prioritization of initiatives
  • Coordinate and drive strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
  • Serve as a dedicated liaison between the executive team and other departments, facilitating ongoing communication and collaboration
  • Monitor and report on progress associated to key initiatives, identify roadblocks, and recommend solutions
  • Oversee daily operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Manage cross-functional projects and ensure timely execution
  • Develop and maintain systems for tracking organizational performance metrics
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency
  • Represent the CEO in meetings and communications when necessary
  • Manage key stakeholder communications and events
  • Mentor and guide team members to support professional growth and development
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding for key leadership and administrative roles

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an operational or project management role, with exposure to strategy, operations, and executive team support
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • 7+ years of experience in a leadership, project management, or administrative role
  • Proven experience supporting C-suite executives
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong project management and data analytics skills, with a history of managing complex, cross-departmental initiatives
  • Ability to manage and organize executive teams, serving as a key point of contact for leadership while driving operational efficiency
  • Experience in talent management, performance systems, and leadership development within a multi-business structure
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, while managing multiple responsibilities and meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills: persuasive, influential, and able to motivate others. Capable of managing relationships across departments and driving teams to meet critical goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365, G Suite, and project management tools such as Asana or Trello
  • Willingness to work outside of business hours, including late evenings and weekends, when necessary
  • An ability to travel on short notice
