Daring Ventures is an emerging early-stage venture fund dedicated to investing in bold, unconventional opportunities overlooked by traditional VCs.
It’s an exciting time at Daring Ventures and we’re looking to make our first key hire! The Head of Growth is a full-time position, serving as a hybrid Chief of Staff and Head of Platform, and playing a critical role in fund operations, community engagement, and strategic initiatives as well as serving as a trusted advisor to our GPs. Expect this to be a demanding but rewarding opportunity with significant growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute events, workshops, and gatherings to strengthen the Daring Ventures community
- Foster relationships with founders, LPs, and key ecosystem stakeholders to expand our network
- Build and implement systems to support fund-level operations and define success metrics to track performance
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the co-founders, contributing to strategic decision-making
- Identify and execute on opportunities for innovation and growth within the fund
What We Are Looking For
- An outside-the-box thinker who thrives on solving complex challenges no matter how big or small
- A detail-oriented organizational wizard who excels in managing priorities and projects
- Someone who thrives in an unstructured, fast-paced startup environment
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in startups in Chief of Staff, community building, strategic, or other relevant early roles
- Demonstrated success in managing operations, building systems, and executing strategic initiatives
- Experience implementing CRM / Project Management workflows
- Strong connectivity to startup communities and prior community building experience
- Unparalleled interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to connect and build trust
