Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced business development professional to help drive our origination efforts with technology clients. This individual will be responsible for sourcing and originating potential transaction mandates (capital advisory and M&A) as well as building long-term relationships with participants in the tech ecosystem such as founders and VCs. This role provides a dynamic, fast-paced environment where a motivated professional will have the opportunity to work closely with innovative technology companies, actively contributing to Kingswood’s growth and influence in the sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Origination & Deal Sourcing – Identify and engage with Series A to Growth technology companies, venture capitalists, and other industry stakeholders to generate deal flow.
  • Founder & VC Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, venture funds, and other investors.
  • Market Insights & Competitive Analysis – Stay informed on industry trends, funding dynamics, and technology market movements to provide strategic insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Brand & Market Positioning – Help further establish Kingswood as a leading advisory partner in the tech ecosystem by contributing to thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and other ecosystem engagement such as external events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in sales/business development, venture capital, investment banking, or startups.
  • Strong knowledge of early-stage and growth-stage funding dynamics, including venture capital and debt financing.
  • Demonstrated network within the venture and startup ecosystem.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with founders, executives and investors.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • U.S. work authorization required.

Base Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 per year. Eligible for fixed commission structure and discretionary year-end bonus.
