Oxx is a growth capital firm with offices in London and Stockholm, focused on investing in scale-up stage B2B software companies with significant commercial traction. We believe that with capital, expertise and dedication, we can take scale-ups from promise to success, helping them bridge the gap between venture funding and growth capital that’s known by entrepreneurs as ‘the valley of death’.
Oxx was launched in 2017 by founding partners Richard Anton and Mikael Johnsson who honed their strategy working together at Amadeus Capital Partners.
We are opening up a new intern role, offering hands-on education in venture capital. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate and knowledgeable about the world of technology investment and software. Interns at Oxx will normally support members of the broader investment team.
· carry out detailed analysis and due diligence on investment opportunities;
· carry out market analyses, financial analyses and quantitative modelling;
· support the production of LP reports on the progress of portfolio companies; and
· support portfolio companies in areas such as market and competitor analysis, acquisition review and financial analysis of prospective funding or exit events.
The role is based in London or Stockholm and may involve some travel.
Immediate start date (but we will also be running a seperate summer internship programme).
The ideal candidate would have 1 or 2 years experience working in a technology company, consulting or finance; be a smart, passionate self-starter excited about technology investment in the B2B software space; and thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to work both independently and within a small team.
To apply, please send your resume, availability and an investment idea that you think is attractive for Oxx to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The investment pitch should outline why you think the company is a good opportunity for Oxx. It is up to you how you want to present it, you may want to look up some “why we invested in…” memos from investors to familiarise yourself with the format, such as this one. The write-up should not be longer than one page.
We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
