Geodesic Capital was founded in 2015 by Ashvin Bachireddy and John Roos. Leading the investment efforts, Ashvin Bachireddy has over 16 years of venture capital experience and previously was the Head of Growth Stage Investing at Andreessen Horowitz. Prior to co-founding Geodesic Capital with Ashvin, John Roos served as the US Ambassador to Japan from 2009-2013 and was the CEO of Wilson Sonsini.
The firm has made 30 investments to date and partnered with market leading businesses, such as Airbnb, Databricks, Duo Security, HashiCorp, Looker, Marqeta, Snap, UiPath, and Workato, among others.
We are looking to build out the investment team at multiple levels and are eager to meet the next generation of venture investors that want to join a lean platform where they have the opportunity to make an outsized impact. We are looking for candidates that have a minimum of 1-2 years of prior venture experience and we’ll work to match great people with the appropriate positions
Investors are primarily responsible for autonomously sourcing new investment opportunities, leading due diligence efforts, and supporting portfolio companies. All team members are also integral in working with our Asian corporate partners on key interest areas and conducting industry research.
