This position would support the office of Magna Innovation Ventures in the activity of finding, monitoring, researching and potentially investing in startup companies related to the future of the automotive industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Researching Startup companies and corresponding technologies globally Advanced research prior to an event or conference on attendees, companies of interest, etc. Organizing historical database on start-up pipeline Researching Venture Capital firms globally and creating a database Organizing file structure for investment portfolio and pipeline Support for LinkedIn outreach and brand awareness
Qualifications: Legitimate interest in new technology areas and the ability to research and learn independently Massively intellectually curious Organized Both a technical (hardware or software) and finance background is ideal – strong in one is required
Education / Experience
Junior or Senior University student
Special Knowledge / Skills: Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal Professional Communication skills
