VC Director @ Antler in London, England

Key experience and personal attributes: 

  • A sound understanding of investment management and financial market products and services
  • Has a high energy level, independent, entrepreneurial, individually motivated, and a collaborative team-oriented approach to business 
  • Superior oral and written communication skills  
  • Ability to establish a high level of credibility externally and internally (Personable, mature, influential)
  • Exceptional record of academic and professional achievement  
  • Strong commercial acumen and intellectual curiosity with proven ability to leverage personal network with family offices and institutional investors
  • Ideal candidates will have 8-10 years of work experience in institutional fundraising (Endowments, Foundations, Pension Funds, Fund of Funds, Family Offices etc.). Venture capital experience would be an advantage but not essential 
  • High attention to detail, with a reputation for producing consistent, clear and reliable outputs
  • Proficient in Google suites and CRM systems

Scope of the role:

Raise capital for the Antler Global Fund and future Antler Funds predominantly in UK (and globally where applicable). 

  • Build and maintain relationships with a large group of suited LPs for investments into Antler’s funds, predominantly focusing on Antler Global Fund but closely supporting Antler venture generation funds, mainly the Antler UK Fund
  • Support the portfolio companies in Antler achieve funding in their Seed and Series A rounds, and coach them on fundraising from VCs
  • Actively map fundraising network in Antler UK to explore fundraising opportunities
  • Investor relations: build and maintain relationships with a large group of suited LPs for investments into Antler’s funds, with a specific focus and full ownership for the Antler UK
    • Continuously keep LPs well informed through delivery of high quality monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports requested by LPs
    • Organize regular investor relations activities (Annual meetings, industry meetings, etc.)
  • Build out a network of well-connected supporters and advisors that can help broaden the reach of our fundraising efforts

  • We want to reward superior performance whereby equal output should receive roughly the same compensation across the globe.
