Responsibilities

One of these new startups is Covault. Covault is an identity management system, consisting of a secure on-line digital vault to store your private digital identities, sensitive documents, passwords and other data.  See www.covault.com for more detail.

At some point we will all have digital identities, Covault is looking to help paint that future. We are seeking a product owner to help build our product for this emerging area.

We are looking for individuals who have deep experience in the Identity and/or security sectors with a track record of structuring, executing and launching complex partnerships to market.

The ideal candidates will leverage their prior experience working in either business development or corporate development for a financial services or technology firm.

Responsibility 

o   Build and manage a network of strategic global and regional partnerships in line with Covault’s strategy

o   Generate new business by leveraging your deep network and prospecting new partners

o   Be the main point of contact with the partner across various levels of the partner’s organization

o   Identify partner needs and match with Covault’s assets

o   Manage and communicate pipeline status

o   Drive the formulation and creation of solutions and proposals for partners

o   Work closely across functional areas and business units within Covault, NDB and the bank to support the definition and negotiation of deal terms and go to market plans

o   Drive the drafting, reviewing and approval of contracts

o   Anticipate the needs, questions, and issues presented by prospective partners and proactively address them

o   Be in regular contact with this emerging identity ecosystem and stay current on trends and business opportunities

o   Build strong and lasting relationships with prospective partners founded on mutual trust and aligned goals

Qualifications

o   10+ years proven capability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish

o   Demonstrated ability to successfully build a pipeline

o   Proficiency in designing and carrying out a consultative sales strategy

o   Excellent presentation and communication skills

o   Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree a plus

o   Combination of strong analytical skills, creativity and ability to execute on ideas

o   Good judgment in evaluating opportunities and follow through

o   Excellent Program Management skills

o   Experience working in a global, multi cultural and/or international environment
