Responsible for identifying, defining and developing business opportunities that will stimulate out-year growth in alignment with business strategy and objectives. Has primary responsibility for coordinating and expediting the organization’s growth through investments and portfolio management. Identifies and analyzes possible minority investments in early stage companies and makes recommendations as to their impact on the organization’s profitability. Major contributor in the negotiation process. Leads and manages the mergers and acquisitions staff. Additional responsibilities include:
- Lead negotiations with and execution of portfolio company transactions
- Sit on boards and act as a trusted advisor to portfolio companies
- Proactively seek business development opportunities
- Due diligence, research, valuation, relationship management and partnership execution
MBA and 10 years of M&A experience required. Venture Capital Firm, private equity and Healthcare and/or Investment banking experience strongly preferred. AnEqualOpportunityEmployer/Disability/Veteran
