Purpose
- Drive awareness, collaboration and partnerships between start-up ecosystem companies and Aero stakeholders (business units)
- Understand, define and articulate VC investing occurring in the Aerospace area of interest
- Provide input and knowledge of potential high synergy start-ups with Aerospace businesses or agencies
- Work closely and synchronize with Honeywell Corp Venture Capital Representative
Candidate
- Commercial and/or Technology background, with
- Ability to work across different business units and insure tie-out across the units
- Sufficient business acumen to structure and negotiate mutually acceptable commercial outcomes
- Candidate should have the capability and skills to rotate back into Aero role requiring start-up/high-growth mindset or transition into HON VC investing role Structure
- Reporting to Aero Adv Tech VP of Engineering (dotted line to HON VC leader) to drive sufficient visibility and accountability for projects
- Budget (or approval authority at a minimum) to drive proof of concept projects with ecosystem partners
- Assists in identifying potential ecosystem partners (scouting, pipeline development etc.) in coordination with HON VC (however is not representing HON VC as an investor or a decision-maker in the VC investment process)

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing
- 10 years experience in Venture Capital
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements

- Aerospace Experience, preferred
- Extensive experience in a industrial multi-national, investment bank, or consulting
- Strong business acumen and strategic analysis experience
- Financial and international operating experience

- This position will be located in San Francisco, after 18 mos an option to relocate and sit at any Honeywell Engineer Hub
