We are are looking to add an experienced venture investor to our team. You will be an integral part of our leadership and a meaningful contributor to our growth and success. ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibility of the role is to help manage the day-to-day operations of the fund, which include:
- Thesis generation: be a thought leader for our group and the industry in identifying where the most attractive investment opportunities lie
- Deal sourcing: leverage new and existing relationships to find new opportunities
- Due diligence: lead due diligence efforts, guide our Associate and Analyst, and present investment opportunities to our IC
- Deal execution: work with our investment and legal team to finalize deal processes
- Grow companies: ensure the success of our portfolio companies by leveraging the resources of our team, network, and parent company
- Monitor portfolio: track key metrics and progress for follow-on investing and valuations
- Operations: help manage our team and operations
- Fund Reporting: participate in presentations to our board and senior leadership
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in VC/PE, investment banking, investment management, technology company, or management consulting firm
- 3-5+ years of venture capital experience as an investor
- Bachelor’s from top-tier University; MBA or relevant Master’s Degree a plus
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills are a must
- Must have a strong work ethic, a great sense of humor, and be a team player
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Resourceful researcher and independent thinker
- Demonstrated track record of deal sourcing and execution
