Job Description
You will have three main focus areas in this position:
1. Crafting innovation strategy for corporates
- Understanding strategic initiatives of corporates and analysing the impact of
industry forces, startups and technology trends
- Ensuring successful delivery of client requirements within the scope and timeline
of the project
2. Facilitating pilots between startups and our corporate partners
- Designing and planning pilots to enable mutually-beneficial engagements
between large corporates and startups that yield commercial results
- Executing on pilots, using agile and iterative sprints, supporting the day-to-day
delivery of activities and managing communications between the corporate and startups
3. Managing internal and external stakeholders
- Managing and guiding an internal team of Analysts and Associates in startup
scouting and analysis activities
- Managing the relationship between Rainmaking and our clients by being the main
point of contact for designated projects

Experience and Skills Required
- 6+ years of relevant experience in at least one of management consulting, venture capital, product management or at a startup
- Data collection and analysis experience including interviews, surveys, market reports and analytical modelling
- Project management experience including managing a junior team of analysts and consultants
- Client and account management experience as a project lead
- Evidence of an interest in startups through work or side projects
- A strong academic record and willingness to continue learning
- Program or project management experience, ensuring that deadlines are met and operations run effectively and efficiently
- Organisational skills and experience working on multiple projects with cross functional teams
- Ability to communicate and present credibly and effectively
- Excellent English, both written and spoken
