  • Build up, maintenance and development of a network in Venture Capital/Startup Ecosystem
  • Representation of Continental as a potential investor
  • Regular exchange with banks, advisors, venture capital firms, key players and stakeholders
  • Establishment of structured and sustainable access to relevant deal flow for Continental
  • Assessment of deal flow and identification of opportunities together with internal stakeholders in line with invest criteria and strategies
  • Performance of market research and participation in scouting process to identify new investment trends and opportunities
  • Advise and support internally on Venture Capital/minority investments
  • Coordination and management of investment processes within Continental including involvement of internal and external specialists and advisors
  • Valuation and financial analysis of investment opportunities
  • Management and coordination of Due Diligences
  • Draft/negotiation of invest contracts and discussion of appropriate transaction structure
  • Preparation of investment decisions
  • Academic degree in business administration, economics or comparable qualification
  • Venture Capital investment professional with extensive experience, preferably in the field of Automotive/ Mobility
  • Comprehensive network in Venture Capital/Startup Ecosystem
  • Venture Capital process experience essential, as well as understanding of investment process, financials, valuation, transaction structures and contracts
  • Understanding of relevant technology, especially of future trends in Automotive/Mobility industry
  • Understanding of products advantageous and capability to associate these with Continental’s strategy and portfolio
  • Confident in using the usual MS Office programs
  • Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken), German and/or other language skills desirable
  • Intercultural and international experience advantageous 
  • High communication and negotiation skills, high personal integrity and professional representation
  • Strong presentation skills and autonomous, committed work style 
  • Willingness to travel internationally
