- Build up, maintenance and development of a network in Venture Capital/Startup Ecosystem
- Representation of Continental as a potential investor
- Regular exchange with banks, advisors, venture capital firms, key players and stakeholders
- Establishment of structured and sustainable access to relevant deal flow for Continental
- Assessment of deal flow and identification of opportunities together with internal stakeholders in line with invest criteria and strategies
- Performance of market research and participation in scouting process to identify new investment trends and opportunities
- Advise and support internally on Venture Capital/minority investments
- Coordination and management of investment processes within Continental including involvement of internal and external specialists and advisors
- Valuation and financial analysis of investment opportunities
- Management and coordination of Due Diligences
- Draft/negotiation of invest contracts and discussion of appropriate transaction structure
- Preparation of investment decisions
- Academic degree in business administration, economics or comparable qualification
- Venture Capital investment professional with extensive experience, preferably in the field of Automotive/ Mobility
- Comprehensive network in Venture Capital/Startup Ecosystem
- Venture Capital process experience essential, as well as understanding of investment process, financials, valuation, transaction structures and contracts
- Understanding of relevant technology, especially of future trends in Automotive/Mobility industry
- Understanding of products advantageous and capability to associate these with Continental’s strategy and portfolio
- Confident in using the usual MS Office programs
- Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken), German and/or other language skills desirable
- Intercultural and international experience advantageous
- High communication and negotiation skills, high personal integrity and professional representation
- Strong presentation skills and autonomous, committed work style
- Willingness to travel internationally
