We are seeking a professional like you to join our dedicated team in the Silicon Valley and assume responsibility for digitally-related investment activities in North America. Your primary focus areas will be to generate deal-flow, lead the detailed technical, commercial, financial and legal due diligence of attractive investment targets, and negotiating term-sheets and investment contracts.
Formula for Success
- Leveraging your educational background in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or Business Administration, along with your professional experience in a company such as or like an accounting or technical consulting firm, you will drive a deal-flow of digital companies, and new and platform-based business models that have a potential link to the chemical industry.
- Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will analyze investment opportunities and conduct due diligence.
- Successfully engaging across the organization, you will collaborate with BASF’s business and functional units to monitor the strategic development of portfolio companies, and prepare decisions about further funding or exit opportunities.
- With your strong understanding of standard IT applications, you will engage with BASF’s Venture Capital team and the organization to present important trends and learnings regarding Machine Learning, Industrial Internet of Things, and Artificial intelligence.
